Very interesting! At first I thought maybe Byzantine, but now I'm not so sure with that imperial orb on the obv. I'll do some digging (in the meanwhile, someone else will probably figure it out...)

This coin was part of a lot of 9 I recently purchased and I have spent days trying to ID with no joy. A great result.
