These are the first set of coins for the I am putting grading guide for my desk reference. I am posting several coins in one thread to save space. What would you grade these
Hey Zachery, I'll take a shot (or, rather, 5 shots!).
1948-S: AU-55 details, with some unfortunate damage on the reverse.
1957: MS-64 RB. Beautiful toning which I hope is natural. I've been fooled by artificial toning before. This color doesn't strike me as AT but I'll be interested in what other graders might say about it.
1949-D: AU-58 BN.
1944: MS-62 RB. There is something odd about the grains on the right-side wheat stalk and some letters in E Pluribus Unum are poorly formed. Maybe this reverse was struck from an excessively worn die?
1948-D: EF-40.
Those are my first impressions, and I'm sticking to them!
