I bought this a long time ago from Nashua Coins and Collectables. I only paid 2.50 for it. It was worth it.

With those blurry pictures looks like somebody ground the surfaces down. I don't know why people do this - maybe to much time on there hands and go into their Dad's workshop while Dad is away at work!! Definitely NOT an error coin. Just PMD.

Well he "only" made 2.49$ - sorry to say that but how is that really possible without it being PMD?

Aw, no. Not grounded down and not PMD! Sorry Mark, but you are incorrect. I have pictures to prove. It's real obviously. Not grounded down.

Sorry Dave - I can only go by your pics - I can't tell anything from them except they are pretty "scratchy". I asked you before what are you using to take pics but you never replied. By the way - Your package was picked up today so should get on Thurs afternoon if everything works out with all them darn tropical storms going up the East coast!

Well that's how blank planchets are. It's typical for the blanks to be heavily scratch. Anyway, I hope I didn't make you angry in any way. For pictures, I use a crappy 20 dollar Tracfone ZTE Z717VL. It's all I can afford for a camera at the moment. I'm getting interviewed on Wednesday for a job and hopefully I'll get hired and save enough money for a better camera. That's good news about the package. Sorry if I got a little bit defensive. :)

No problem - can you take pics with your phone and then run the pics through an edit program? I have to do that with my microscope pictures, hope you get the job. Don't worry about getting defensive - that actually is a good quality in a person - won't take crap . Gotta get to bed tonight - talk at you tomorrow!! Hope you can use the PVC free coin flips and envelopes I sent you!!

I might be able to edit it through a editing program. I'll do more research on that sometime. I hope I'll get the job too. Well, as you know, I like to show my good qualities and not my bad ones. Hopefully all that stuff you sent me will be useful which it will be as I'm running short of supplies. Goodnight Mark I'll talk to you tomorrow.

If you have any doubt on the authenticity of that planchet, the weight would probably be helpful as a comparison to what it should be.

I've actually received two like this in change, which tells you how much attention people pay to their coins.

One for an error set is a must. Congratulations on a good buy.
