Help Identifying 2 Small Copper Coins

j_hewes Valued Member United States 52 Posts	Posted 08/30/2017 10:31 pm Hi, I bought these two unidentified copper coins recently simply because they had interesting patterns on them (why not?). The auction provided no information other than they were possibly Islamic. But I don't see anything on the coins that looks Arabic or Persian, so maybe they are from the further reaches of Islamic influence. The angular designs remind me more of Hindu coins. Anyway, if someone out there recognizes one or both, I would be most grateful. I am thinking both are from the Chauhan Dynasty—maybe Prithviraj III and Raja Chahada Deva? Now, I could be wrong with those, so I would suggest getting in contact with drnsreedhar.
