Have this coin(? medallion perhaps?) and can't even tell what country it's from (yes, I'm horrible at anything that isn't in the modern English alphabet...). If you recognize the coin specifically, or know the country of origin, etc., any info you have is priceless - thanks!

The date on the coin would be 2540, or 1997 in the Gregorian calendar.
