I'm new at this and not sure but I found a 1968 D penny that looks as if the date is blurred or something. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time !

Pix a bit blurry, but from what I see on NW direction is DDD, Die Deterioration Doubling. As dies wear, metal naturally flows outwards, causing devices to stretch, especially on the edges of the die face. Remember die is reversed mirror image of what you see, so field area on coin is the dies "face", the flat portion with incuse devices.
