After seeing all the heartbreaks of families losing all they own I've been asking myself what else I can do above monetary donations to worthy charities. As many of you know, I have a soft spot for new YN collectors and try to help generate further interest in our chosen hobby. If anyone knows of a relative, family friend, or just friends who's kid(s) have lost their collection(s), the kids who've lost theirs especially.
I have two starter sets of Lincoln Wheat cents and early
Jefferson nickels that I am willing send out to two individuals as replacements, free of charge. These are nice sets(on
ebay). Of course this is dependent upon mail service, but if you know them, their current location, surely something can be arranged. Please PM me if you know of any. And please, this is for the younger ones, those who lost theirs, not just a beginner set. Thanks, all.
Let's expand this to anyone else who wants to do something like this. Respondents need contact poster of offer to arrange deliveries. That way no one person need coordinate for all...this then will go directly from the POSTER to recipient for however many offers you give...OK?
Might I hear from some CFF members in South Texas maybe, that may know of some YN's or coin clubs to contact?
