Wondering about this MM. Too lightly stamped, Greaser, or too much polishing? And worth throwing it in my "error coin book"? (actually a 3 ring binder with them clear plastic 2X2 holder pages)

As a good guess not because I'm correct, but it might be a Over Polished Die issue that caused this. Remember, by any means, I am not saying I am correct. :)

I checked it out and gave you my answer on it as a good guess. Mark, if you have the time, check this link out. Yes, it's on a foreign coin, but who cares. http://dniewcollectors.blogspot.com...or-coin.html Or it's a Folded Fin error. Check thislink out. http://goccf.com/t/274575

I would also guess it was caused by over-polishing.

Most of the '69Ds that I've encountered have this MM appearance, too. I'm thinking it must be a fairly common occurrence.

Interesting with them 69-D coins - the nickles have polished MM's and the cent's have the posts polished out of the reverse Roof posts!!
