This is another Wheat penny I found in my collection and it looms really strange, any opinions on what it might be?Thank you.

Looks like some lamination issues to me.

Looks raised to me, so it might be glue or something on the coin. I order for this to be raised on a coin the die would have to me missing that area on the die. Probably didn't happen that way. So check to see if something is on your coin?

I've checked the coin and it's definitely part of the coin, it's raised copper,

I can't think of a single way this could be a minting error, although the possibility of a lamination makes the most sense.

My first thought after seeing the coin was the same as coop's. Give it an acetone bath. It will not hurt the coin. Use a Qtip to lightly wipe the surface. Them post pictures again. Let's see the reverse of the coin as well.
