There is no way to remove those prints without damaging the coin. John1

Hey RobertP! Yea, once the surface metals have been affected by corrosive skin oils, they actually change properties faster than the areas around them, uneven toning actually. That's the reason to always handle coins by the rim! Can't see the rim as well!

If it is the same coin, then I notice 2 scratches, one at the ear and one at around the temple area. Also, there's some dull powder residue left on the surface.

NJ Bob , that is the same coin posted by Dorado , just look at all the tiny marks on them , they match up .

 Swear it must be Brasso, did wonders on military brass belt buckles, no scratches if buffed right.
