Greetings from Europe. I'm new to the site. I'm looking to see how much the value is of the pure gold Narnia Aslan 2006 coin from New Zealand.

I moved your thread to this section to get correct replies.

Is it still in the original packaging, and is it still in mint condition?

There are so many different examples of these modern novelty coins that it makes my head hurt.

They are, at a minimum, worth their metal value. As far as I am aware, the secondary market for many of these coins is weak to virtually nonexistent. A quick Google search showed a NZ 2006 Aslan gold plated silver $1 that was listed like six times on ebay for $150 and never sold. Unless you have a specific price you are looking to recover, I would treat these coins as bullion and buy/sell accordingly.

Is there a pure gold one? I know about a gold plated silver one. That's a very low mintage coin (well under 10.000 for what I know), and it sells for prices from 1000CZK on ebay nowadays... You can probably get it cheaper via other channels.
