There are so many different examples of these modern novelty coins that it makes my head hurt.
They are, at a minimum, worth their metal value. As far as I am aware, the secondary market for many of these coins is weak to virtually nonexistent. A quick Google search showed a NZ 2006 Aslan gold plated silver $1 that was listed like six times on ebay for $150 and never sold. Unless you have a specific price you are looking to recover, I would treat these coins as bullion and buy/sell accordingly.
Is there a pure gold one? I know about a gold plated silver one. That's a very low mintage coin (well under 10.000 for what I know), and it sells for prices from 1000CZK on ebay nowadays... You can probably get it cheaper via other channels.
