Actually more DDD, Die Deterioration Doubling, a striking error not a hubbing error. The wearing down of die face materials, stretching of devices due to metal movement outwards plus the effects of a "shaving" MD that shears off edges/of devices angularly.

Hint: compare your finds to these sites:

http://www.doubled die.com
http://www.variety vista.com

And really start learning about error and doubled dies:

Thank you for your reply. I'm slowly learning. Next I would like your opinion on a 1972 s that I'm pretty sure that date is doubled.
