Hi there, I am new to the coin collecting world. I started this hobby as a way to bond with my 7 year old. He bored of the task rather quickly and I have become a bit obsessed. :)
I am from Washington State, USA, and a complete beginner but am looking forward to learning more!

Welcome and hello from across the gorge in Oregon Territory. Pick your area of interest and buy a 1. 2017 Mega Red coin book 2. Cherrypickers handbook, 3. The Authoritative Lincoln double die book, 4. A good 8x10 loop glass and magnifying glass, and 5. Subscribe to Coin Week. Caution, stop while you can or you will become one of US and become a coinmonster :) p.s. has your son seen or held a 3 legged Buffalo nickel or a 1909 S v.d.b. Wheat cent? Those coins still lure young collectors like a pokieman badge. Welcome to the world of coinpeople!
