It reminds me of the Washington golden dollars with similar effect around the profile hence nickname * Sun Rays*
I searched the old threads to find something similar, what is the correct term for this? coin is uncirculated.

Die deterioration. It is common to find these die flow lines on the VLDS (Very-Late-Die-State) coins. Note the closer to the rim the devices are, the less of the devices are showing. So at one time the die was polished, and now showing new die flow lines again. How can I tell? note the over all devices are thinner and now with die wear happening, some of the devices are not totally going away. But until the die starts breaking apart, they will continue to use this die past normal retirement.
