Yes, it is technically a mint error as it does happen in the Mint. Unfortunately, it's MD ( Machine Doubling). It carries no extra value and is very common on all coinage. Take a look at this link and you will learn a ton from it. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/...oubling.html
Does anyone have one of these as a doubled-die right now that can post it because trying to look them up online some say it is a double die some say it's MD everybody has different opinions so sometimes I don't really know where it stands. Sometimes it appears that MD and double die are pretty subjective terms based on who you ask and I've also found what mood they're in for example or if any other amount of valuables would be considered that does anyone have wood as a true double die of this to post a picture of vs me searching on locations that don't know if they're going is or is not?
