If you are talking about the silver colored areas it's probably split plating - Not an error. When the coin is struck the pressure of the strike tears the copper plating and exposes the zinc underneath - very common on the Zincolns.

If you can, get one that has an adjustable light source. Mine doesn't and I wish it did.
