Went back to the LCS today to get the 42-D Jefferson. Took my loupe with me this time and the reverse and steps looked pretty good so I picked it up along with a few more recent proofs he had on sale for 50 cents each. Any thoughts about a grade for this one - thanks.

MS-64 since you showed a blown up photo of reverse which didn't help any , not FS . The D mint mark looks like it might have took a hit . full luster coin .

I just took a picture of the steps because the regular picture washed out the detail. I'm not sure what's going on there - I took a closer pic of it . (well, it ain't split plating )
