I think (guess?) this one is probably mint state. Details are weak at the obverse rim, shield, and Liberty's head and central body. The date is actually a bit better-defined than many 1919 coins. The right knee has a flat area but I suspect this is strike weakness rather than wear. The poor lady's toes are also weakly defined. On the reverse, it looks like feather detail at the eagle's breast is incomplete. There seems to be quite a bit of luster remaining and bag marks are few and small.

The weak strike should limit the grade. I'd give it an MS-62 (not full head) at the high side. If the flat knee and weak shield are worn rather than weakly struck, the grade would drop to AU-58. In either case, it's a nice coin!

I would go a little higher than Jaobler. I think it is MS63, no FH.

I would love for this coin to get an MS grade. I bought this as an AU for an AU-50 price. It was too pretty to pass up. Thanks for the replies.

I think it is close to MS, but I do see some slight
wear at some higher points.
Combined with a weak strike, which I agree with,
IMO makes it a 50-55.

The wear is very slight, and it would be good for a
58 if the strike was sharper. I am no SLQ expert,
but the strike here looks below average sharpness.

SLQ gurus:
Is a strike this soft common for this coin series?

My .02...
Coming from someone with all of 3 SLQs in my collection!
So there is a big grain of salt!

I would agree with the purchase grade of au-50. Lots of little hits, wear on the shield and right leg. Still, a very nice coin.
