Thanks for posting!
Unfortunately, I don't think any of them would qualify as full steps. I think there are three full steps at the most on a couple but, not enough for an FS designation.

For the Full Steps attribute not only must all the steps be there BUT they must also be undamaged. Any nick that crosses the steps removed the coin from the FS description. Same thing as FBL on Franklin halves.

Great photos. I agree that none of them are FS. But, more importantly, you realize how scarce they are and will have your eyes open on every Monticello reverse that crosses your path.
Some are worth MORE than their weight in GOLD. Keep searching, and sharing wonderful photos.

You took me up at my suggestion. These are pretty good for 1963-D, but not FS. Kanga summed it up quite nicely.

They are all keepers in my book. Finding this much detail in steps on a 1963 D is very difficult. This should tell you that these are the next best thing. I personally would be pretty happy finding these. I like No4 and No6 the best. Without looking, they might be better than I have and I collect full step nickels in my set. I would venture to say they may be better in step detail than a lot of us members have in our set. I saw your post yesterday, that you had a quantity of 1963 D Jeffersons. Like moxking says, this should teach you something about certain dates just being plain tough to near impossible to find without forking out some dough. To me they look like uncirculated coins, so I am assuming the 5 containers ( or probably plastic nickel roll tubes ) are saved original rolls that were put in tubes. I challenge anyone to go on ebay and find 1963 D nickels in this grade with these steps. It won't be easy without paying more than your typical MS63+ 1963 D. For me, these are "good ones" despite not having full steps. It's like a game of horseshoes where almost does sometimes count.

Thank you all for your opinions they are greatly valued, yes SsuperDdave I took your advice and looked through all 5 tubes, I found 45 that have at least 2 full steps. I appreciate all the advice and knowledge I get from the responses I receive.

Red Book Values them at $0.25 each in a MS60 condition. There are many sites for grading on the net, including getting opinions here on CC. I couldn't venture a guess without seeing obverse and reverse, and then I am not an expert. You can also check e-Bay for a realistic purchase price.
