Are British commemorative medals welcome here or is there another forum for that?

Excellent! Well in that case, here is one of my medals.

John Croker's Peace of Utrecht medal of 1713, in bronze. The reverse shows the seated figure of Queen Anne in the guise of Britannia against a background that represents trade, commerce, and agriculture. Croker was Chief Engraver of The Royal Mint from 1704 to 1741. The Latin legend on the reverse reads "They honour [peace] by laying aside their arms".

I thought they go in medals and exonumia or whatever but what do I know?

I only collect money but the deep relief, large size and lovely patina on that seems to tick all the boxes.

Of course commemorative medals are welcome.

Because medals do not have the requirement to be stacked, the designer of the medal can take full advantage of high relief in the design.
Medallic artwork gets it's chance to shine!
