I agree it's an over-polished die. Lincoln is starting his disappearing act. I've found some with the coat affected but not so much in the neck area.

By the way, how are things going in the Houston area?

I've always thought of making a set with the different die states as Lincoln disappeared. Only problem is, I've only found two and they are rarely offered for sale.

thanks moxking,EaV and sprett001, here in Houston and actually all over the cost we're trying to get to some how normal ,many people trying to rebuild their lives after loosing everything, house , cars,furniture and clothes and keep working (like my daughter) over 2500 houses just on her gated community. I don't have as much time as before to roll searching since I'm rebuilding my daughter's house.
