1997-D-Dime--What-Do-You-Think-Of-The-D

Not sure, always thought after 1991 all MM were placed in hubbed design not punched into working dies.

According to most sources RPMS end at 1989, gotta be MD

well, I don't know why the reverse pictures were needed but it looks as if 2 small die chips IN the D and a machine jump (MD) on the outside left on the D. Strange MD but I don't know what else it could be. And you are correct about the mint not punching the MM in the die after 91.

Die flow/die wear towards the rim. MD in the other direction on the devices. (two different directions, two different causes)
