I bought both of these on ebay for 6.50. The first one is a Uncentered Broadstrike. The second one is I think a Partial Collar error that has been circulated and shows PMD on the rim from the strike I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong. These are real Mint errors and are not fake. Not bad for 6.50.

Get those protected fast. I recommend the air tight 2X2's. Any normal moisture exposure and the zinc will eat both of them.

I agree that they are both real errors. The price you paid is probably darned inexpensive in comparison to how many cents you would have to dig through to find two like this.

Don't worry moxking, I have already put them in non PVC flip cases for the best protection. And yes, the price was darn inexpensive compared to try finding them yourself.

Those are a good purchase and like Moxking said, keep those zincolns protected. Question is there a good way to remove the skin oil from a coin without damaging it?

Yep, I did what moxking said. And your question Newbie234, not sure how to answer it, but maybe the more experienced members can answer your question.

If you mean older fingerprints - forget about it as the acids from them eat into the coins surface. If you mean if you accidentally just touched a coin and the oils are "fresh" then a soak in pure acetone and a rinse with distilled water should do the trick.

I think you got a decent deal on those. Enjoy!

I think it's really fun to have a coin where you can see there error without a microscope.

Nickelsearcher, I didn't find this, but I bought it off of ebay for only 6.50. What a bargain for major U.S. Mint made errors! Thank you for that nice comment.
