When going through 100 random ATB Quarters, about 70% have some MD on the outside rim on the reverse devices. Some minor ones, some stronger. But because of the incuse devices (sunk into the coin) the dies have raised devices, on these dies it takes only the slightest die movement to make MD visible on this series.

I Think it is just my going bad eyes, Do any others see the close up OP pix as NOT being incuse? I see the whole coin OK, but close ups image is reversed? Weird!

I've seen that way also on raised devices. But eventually the image straightens out.
