Hi, I'm new to the forums, I apologize if a similar thread has been made or if this is in the wrong section, But I was wondering where I might find common supplies most coin collectors use.

What I'm trying desperately to find right now is a magnifying glass that can help me search Lincoln pennies and other coins, That can fit on a key chain. I wanted to know if common everyday stores (Such as Wal-mart for example) would carry one, and if so, Which isle might be the best.

I was also trying to find cleaning solution for the coins I have come into possession, But I was clueless as to where to look for it, I have also heard that store-brand coin cleaning solution is expensive, But I have never heard what the common price for it is.

Lastly, I was wondering where I might find any sort of coin protecting sleeve, But designed for an individual coin.

Really I'm just looking for the basic must-have nesscessities that I'm sure 98% of the forum already has, But I'm clueless as to where to find them. (Mainly that key-chain magnifiying glass )

Help on any of the above would greatly be appreciated, I have just started collecting coins, And my family has a collection of Lincoln pennies (Some of which are wheat cents) that have been handed down, And the local coin store oddly sells very large bags of random coins, Some of which date back to the 1800s, For around 19 dollars or so, These two factors are what really pushed me into coin collecting.
Rest in Peace

Hey there Joe and welcome, I have a particular favorite for all my supplies, he is at https://www.air-tites.com Marty Mitchell is his name and has most everything that you are looking for under one store. It's well laid out and easy to navigate. plus if you need more info on something he will call you back if you leave a message. Good luck to you!

Here are some stores, you may want to compare their prices & shipping before making a choice:

........Joe

All the above mentioned places for supplies are great!
The only thing I would add is if you don't want to credit card order stuff online......try some of your local hobby shops....We have a place here in my town called "Hobby Lobby".......HUGE store, but in there they have half an isle dedicated to "coins".....meaning you can get currency album holders of different sizes, 2x2 cardboard mylars, ALL KINDS of coin albums, Magnifying glasses of different sizes and kinds, all kinds of coin tubes, etc. etc. etc. etc.. Other "Hobby" type of shops may carry things "coin related" too....
Also, if you have a "coin shop" in your town, they'll have some supplies quite likely too.....if not sitting out, just ask them.
So, you might try those places or something similar to that if you'd prefer to just "drive" over to get your supplies over ordering off of the internet.......

I recommend that you pass on purchasing any "cleaning solution for coins." Attempting to clean them is 99.9% likely to dramatically reduce the value of your coins.

WELCOME TO THE FORUM.
To start with don't clean any coins. As to magnifying glasses the best thing is Walmart. Try the school supply sections. If you have any flea markets in your area, try them also for coin items. naturally check out any hobby or coin stores in your area. If your just starting out, keep your monitary output as low as possible for now. Way to many people loose interest in a hobby when they see large amounts of money needed for hobby related items. Flea markets, garage/yard sales may produce many items for a really cheap price.
If there are any coin stores in your area you may want to try them first for 2x2's to hold each coin. If purchased there you would save money on postage and handling compared to the internet.
As mentioned a flea market could produce a large variety of magnifying glasses for a really cheap price.
