1804 Quarter. Too Good To Be True Or? Grade Please :)

To make a long story short, I won this on ebay this past summer. It was listed as "1804 Liberty Coin" I saw the coin while scrolling through some auctions and thought it looked too good and that it was fake. I didn't even open up the auction to view. About 30 coins down I saw an 1846 Tall date half. looked XF but cleaned. Opened the auction figured it was worth a low ball bid. I then clicked on sellers other auctions and there was that 1804 Liberty Coin again so I opened the auction and in the description it said "lightweight and thin probably a copy". But then I opened the reverse picture and saw "25C" below the eagle which would explain the lightweight and thin description. So I bid and won it at a price I'm embarrassed to disclose. After receiving it the weight checked out, the variety checked out (only 2 for that year) and it looked good. Pretty sure it was cleaned once before as it has an un-natural gloss on the obverse. Put it in my widow sill for a month on cardboard but not much changed and I really wanted to send to PCGS which it is currently on the way. There is no doubt in my mind it is genuine and thinking it will grade XF details cleaned. Some weak clouds and stars on the reverse and obverse has the die flaw at 2:00 and die clash. Check Heritage to see some nice examples of this rare date. What do you all think? I plan on selling it and paying off some debt. Thanks!

high xf - almost au details cleaned. looks like a home run. these are like hen's teeth and has beautiful detail. The hair above the forehead is so well defined. congratulations!

Wow. That is amazing. Even if you paid a reasonable price, this is a beauty both for date and type.

At a cheap price you've probably burned some well acquired karma points. Congratulations.

Can you provide a weight in grams? 6.70-6.75 is spec. Also, try to obtain a shot of the edge reeding if possible. This coin has full AU detail, so if it's genuine, it's worth 35-65k or even more.
The hair above the ear area and towards the ribbon worries me a bit, as all of the hair above that point looks to have pinhole pitting, but otherwise, other than the color, I don't see any immediate red flags. That being said, I am far from an expert on these large eagle early Quarters.

Looks pretty good, almost too good as you say. You know these are wafer thin pieces. The area near the upper center of the reverse (in and around the stars) is suspect. That said if it's genuine it's worth tens of thousands. The Chinese copies are often listed as 1804 Liberty Coin so that's an odd one too. The seller info could lend more information.

It would be a very high quality copy if it is counterfeit. It would be the ebay find of the century if it's genuine. This one will be interesting to follow.

All the ones I've seen have the soft stars. They also have weak wingtips. Here is an MS example via the Heritage site.

If that is a counterfeit, somebody did a heck of a job getting all the details right. I wouldn't be able to sleep till I got it back from PCGS.

Added pictures of edge reading and weight. The obverse pic shows pretty much every hit and clash on the coin but in hand, the hits are difficult to see. My scale rounds up or down to nearest gram. Thanks
