I think this is the 1966 Obverse Doubled Die, but it's a tough one to be sure about. Need help confirming it.
Thanks
Mitch

In my opinion... maybe. Have you looked on CopperCoins?

Thanks CM,
Without the prominent "U" in trust I thought it would be harder to get a "maybe"

I have looked at CopperCoins, the PCGS site has some good examples too, that's where I saw some examples without that clear separated U, but it's much harder for me to be sure without that U.

Thanks again,

No it isn't. The WE GOD are different so is inside of R. Yours the notching at tops of you aren't distinguishable, so would say no match

Doesn't look like DDO-001, but has a number of interesting issues. Top left of N in IN, crossbar of G, 1 and 9 might have some notching. I wouldn't be embarrassed to send this one to Mr. Wexler and spend a couple bucks to get a professional look at it. Out a few dollars if nothing, big bonus if it is something. Odd-looking coin and well worth pondering what is going on with this one.

Send it in to John Wexler to see if it's a new ulisted DDO. If you do send it in, we will be excited to hear back from you.

Did someone mention the 66 FS-101? Interesting coin, I'm with the rest send it to Mr. Wexler. Yours looks definitely different than a mid die state FS-101 but has some thickness in the date similar to a LDS AU-58 I have. My AU-58 could easily be chucked in the copper bucket searching late at night except for the you of trust, it jabs out at ya.
Did yours come out of an old mint state bank roll? All rolls I have bought have similar sulfur spots with a purple hue from decades in the same paper roll. Keep everyone informed, I'm rooting for it to be FS-102, boy would that get everyone going. Good luck man I have been tearing through them 66's and still no pay dirt. There an awesome minor variety $700 + in 64 red.

Thanks for all help, and information.

This coin came from one these old rolls, a lot of the coins are in better shape than that one I took the picture of, so I'm trying go through them to possible find another one like that one I posted. If not I'll send it in and who knows maybe get lucky and it will turn out to be something new.

Thanks again! I'll absolutely keep everyone up on what I find out, even if it turns out to be nothing special.
Mitch

Either way, I think you should save your attribution money for another coin. The condition of this one outweighs anything else it might be, and it's probably not anyway. jmo
