Hello all,

Looking for your opinion on this bank note. I love the color and eye appeal it has.

I'm not sure on the rarity of this note in this condition. Let me know what you think the rarity is or the value of it and do you think its something that could appreciate in value over the years.

I saw that site, but I have never seen anything sell at their values. Plus I believe it was last updated in February 2017 things could have changed. I guess the real question is, do you think is worth the full investment at $500 Canadian.

My favourite Canadian Bank Note Series.
Charlton has it valued at $550.00 and
the last one sold on ebay went for $598.00.
If you can get it $500.00, I would say that would be fair.
As far as appreciating in value, I don't think anyone can say for sure.

Thanks for the information on pass sales. I'm in at $275 usd with a 15% commission and $20 usd attachment. Not sure what the insurance will be and possibly taxes, but I guess I can claim those taxes back since I am not a resident of the USA.

Cheers and thanks again

love to hear more thoughts on the subject.

TheBurnz-
Don't forget those prices I gave you are
in Canadian Dollars so take that in consideration
if you are bidding in US Dollars.

This note looks like it's doing well... Looking on icollector 10 years ago you could buy a note graded 65 at around $270.

Most recent sales on ebay show one note sold for around $500...

Over 10 years that's a 7% compound interest rate of return. Very close to what you would get if you invested the same into conservative ETF's or stocks.

So from an "investment" perspective this looks solid....
