Hi all, new to forum.
Found an odd cent coin roll hunting this morning. Strange abrasion(s) on obverse ending right in line with Lincoln's nose. Consistent patina suggesting it was done at mint or very soon thereafter. Any input appreciated on what may have caused this, what it's worth, etc.

Thinking its a type 1 large date, that's been damaged and bent after strike. Reverse show anything? I tried to zoom in from my end, but image gets to distorted in the process. Thanks, Doug.

I agree with Halo & Crazub0, damaged/bent due to getting hit hard.

thanks for the welcome everyone.

So the reverse has a gentle convex sloping opposite where the mark is. Almost looks like a weak planchet (damaged in its inception) could've caused it to buckle there. What's the name for this? I'm gonna hold onto it regardless but I'm wondering how rare this type of error is for this coin. The more I look at it, the more I'm convinced this is a mint error.

, I agree that's PMD and not an error, the reverse is proof of it.
