USA-Wheat-Penny-1947-Steel/Magnetisable.

I found this 1947 Wheat penny in a lot I bought. I searched for it, but I could not find anything like this... It is very well made, I searched for any clue of a fake one, have not found any, also it is magnetisable, and has this "edge" on it. At a part the "edge" is damaged, and it seems like it is assembled to the coin. Still the coins color and the fact that it is magnetisable doesn't match the usual 1947 Wheat penny.
Thanks for helping!

My best guess is that it is a post-mint plated 1947 cent that has a bezel around it made of magnetic material (steel?).

The plating could be nickel, chrome, mercury...

. You did very well.
Your coin looks to be in a frame of some sort. Most likely from a piece of jewelry or maybe a keychain. It also looks to be plated in something. All of that was done after it left the mint so it is PMD (Post Mint Damage)
