Would on unopened original mint roll of Bicentennial quarters be worth more than face value? Ive searched ebay and google both and cant even find a picture of one. So do I have something rare? Thanks

Not rare in the least as individual coins, billions of business strikes. Not much over face worth unless mint issue uncirculated, if this is a bank wrapped, it may or may not be of good quality.

Give and take about $5 over the face value of the roll if the roll has not been tampered with. After seeing the wrapper I am certain the premium will be higher than I originally thought.

A long time ago I and a friend saved all of those we could find. Eventually we both took them to a bank and deposited them.

Yea I spend em when I get them too, I know each one is only worth face value, just thought maybe being in an original mint roll and completely unc. might be a little more rare. Thank you all for helping and God bless.

The coins wholesale $14 per roll but you can probably get more for having an unusual wrapper.
The chances of finding high grades or varieties in these is very poor but one of the varieties is extremely valuable.

I remember how exciting these bicentennial coins were at the time. There were no commemoratives or other special coins coming from the mint and we had been looking at the same old designs. I saved every quarter, half and dollar I got. Later, I decided that there were so many quarters I quit keeping those.
