Canacoins Pillar of the Community Canada 955 Posts	Posted 10/09/2017 12:39 pm 1949-VF20 . Just. Melt value. 1962-EF-45 (maybe au-50 but I don't think so). The marks I beleive are from other coins banging in the collection hoppers at the mint or during transport in bags.Both have been cleaned at sometime. Because of the condition this one is also melt value. MS-62 or better is when the marks would have any impact, simply because this coin isn't worth grading. Hope this helps. rockfish Valued Member Canada 217 Posts	Posted 10/10/2017 7:15 pm Those spiral marks on the obverse of the '62 look like PMD rather than bag marks - but in any case, if you just want to label your 2x2 then EF45 seems reasonable, but it's value is just melt.
