Much nicer on the eyes than the one I posted! I'd say MS65. A couple of marks on the cheek and eyebrow keeping it form a 66

I'd say more like a 63.

64 is a stretch.

I'm shocked anyone would think this is a 65, let alone a shot at a 66.

MS65 ...what 'you' are calling scratches are inconsistencies in the toning, imho.

Sorry to say this, but if this coin grades an ms65, then everyone here should stop bashing ICCS and start bashing PCGS.

I would bet a small fortune that this coin doesn't grade any better than a 64 and as stated earlier, it should be an ms63.

Tripoli.....let me understand.....you think the obverse field area to the right of the Queen's profile is toning inconsistencies and not scratches (or marks)?

I thought the chatter in front of the queen's bust would have been on the planchet and not from ding marks. If so, then yes DE59, i'd say a 64. Nicer than a 63.

Those PCGS photos pulled off some beautiful toning on that dollar..and it presents wonderfully..

Don't they give extra value to excellent toning ?

I was a little disappointed in the MS64 grade given this coin by PCGS.
In hand it easily presents as a MS65 coin and has a rather nice satin like lustre and appearance.

I honestly don't want to harp on this issue, but this coin is not even close to a 65, PCGS or ICCS graded, it doesn't matter.

Probably an ms63 with ICCS and because of the beautiful toning (eye appeal) PCGS bumped it to a 64.

The whole right side of the obverse field is cluttered with marks.

@doubleeagle, Yes, I'm suggesting this coin presents better in person and those marks at 3 oclock on obverse are not scratches (if it had graded MS65)
