Looks like a high bounce after the strike. Note the lips are also showing the same thing. A closer view will probably show us the flattening affect better.

I'm pretty sure MD has caused the profile to become doubled. Better pictures are needed to tell for sure.

Sorry for pics.it my moms coin.got few pics of it for her.can try to get closer in same pics but thats all I can do.she lives up north.and visit like 1 a year.

Machine Doubling after the strike. The die was a normal die, but movement of this die after the strike damaged the area you are looking at. This happens a lot at varying degrees. Not a doubled die. Sorry.
