Sorting though the backlog some this weekend and found this little gem I had forgotten about.

Claudius II, Posthumous (270-271?)
DIVO CLAVDIO, Radiate head right
PAX AVGVSTI, Pax standing, holding olive branch and scepter, A to left

Not in RIC, not on Wildwinds. Spreadsheet from Romancoins.info lists it as Normanby Hoard 1128, Rare (without A is scarce).

Divo-Claudius-II---Pax-Reverse!

It seems a bit common to be an error, but perhaps it could be a mule with this rather common Quintillus type:

Or maybe it celebrates the peace that the dead Claudius brought to the empire?

Little gem is right. Your awareness of the types seems to be giving you a sensitivity for catching sleepers in a mix or unrecognized by a seller. Keep it up, the hobby benefits as do you. Good catch!
