Still learning how to grade Morgans. But for this one I would want to go MS65-DMPL (if that greenish obverse color is right.)

Images are tantalizing but not definitive.  Based on these, I'm at 64 with 65 a possibility, and having a difficult time not falling in love with the color. If they were lit in the same fashion (I can see the obverse is lit from about 10:00 and the reverse from 6:00, guessing only one light each), there are hints that the obverse is quite reflective and the reverse slightly less so.

MS65 is certainly not out of reach for this beauty. With the amount of frost on both sides I would guess PL is a possibility although not conclusive based on these images.

64 can't tell if PL or DMPL from pics.

63 maybe 64. My main problem is that the obverse rim from 10 o'clock to 3 o'clock seems rough and abraded. The coin has a nice strike and clean cheek. That is common for 1881-S's which are available by the tens of thousands in high grades. The toning is not common, and I am not able to tell if it is original or AT. If original, that would be the main source of value, as these coins are otherwise common in high grades. Morgans tend to tone in a rainbow progression. Monochrome green toning makes me suspect that it may not be original.

This one is grade ms-64 dmpl. I really like the toning but I suspect a bidding war will ensue for this one. Its up for auction soon.

That one is going through the roof. Wouldn't be surprised if it doubles the "usual" value, or more.
