1865 Great Britain Penny- Help with grade and value please

I was thinking VF20?

There is a big jump in value it seems from VF20 to XF40 for example according to NGC website.

Wondering also if I should have it professionally graded to get more value at resale.

Any info and suggestions welcomed! Thanks!

More like VF-25 I think, maybe VF-30 when holding in hand. Better than VF-20 for sure, and not XF, indeed.

From the standpoint of wear, I'd also be thinking mid range VF. My concern from its overall appearance is whether it was once polished and has since mostly retoned. A grading service will tag it as a "details" coin if that's their evaluation.

Thank you guys!

The grading help is greatly assisting me getting a bit better doing it myself. That gives me a lot more confidence when purchasing coins.
