Lady Luck Was With Me!!

Hey Dair Fellow Coin Bugs ITs been awhile since my last post [Enjoying the summer except for my bad sunburnLOL!!]Anyhow Like the Title Reads I had Lady Luck with me this week and she didnt let me down...

Here was my two nice finds this week.. Foist Find was when I was doing my usual crazy "coin routine" Everyone who is a Coin Bug knows what I mean ie [You ask the guy or goil at the counter to give you nickels and dimes and quarters instead of paper money or loonies or toonies and they always look at you like your from MARSHAHAHA!

SO I did my usual routine at a regular small jernt where I play a Scratch Ticket or two If I double my money I a Scratch I go and ask for the profit in Change , So I did this with my first win I took the $3 profit I made and got 20 nickels and a toonie back ,then After I scanned the coins the guy at the counter Gave me Went Back and Asked for a $1 worth of dimes he gave me ten in there was what Looked to be a Silver Dime I was Ecstatic that My search for a pre-1968 dime was complete and I said To myself Maybe he has more ,So I went back and Asked him directly do you have any more cool old dimes and he opened the register and there was a few more Silver pre-1968 dimes in there I asked him for them and he was like "Umm they look they have silver in them" And I told him yes they have some and Explained that I been searching for pre-68 dimes for a while and explained how happy I was saying thank you . These guy knows I'm a Coin Bug as I have asked him to search for old nickels before while I played my tickets when he wasnt busy and he did. So I Told him I had a little gift for his 3 year old daugther next time I'm in. Its nothing to big I'm just gonna give the little goil a nice Good Condition Veterans Quarter in a AirTight capsule. I hope the Goil Keeps it for a long time and they dont think "What a Cheap " LOL! I know I would be happy if someone gave me a Quarter in good condition in a Airtight capsule...

So the Foist time lady luck was with me I walked out of that Corner store with 8 pre-1968 dimes

Very Next day I do the usual routine at another corner store I ask for Any Old Nickels that they have And the Lady said "they dont see nothing " And As I said thats okay she said "Do you want this Dollar?" I look Up and its a 1978 100% Bullion Nickel Dollar I was like "Oh yeah Ill take it" She gazed at it a bit and then gave it to me , I left the store feeling like a Little Kid that Got an extra candy from the store LOL! And While I didnt see the date right at the start I didnt mind that it wasnt a older Silver Version Because I love 100% nickel Coins especially when there weight is almost an oz LOL!

So Two Nice Finds Back to back And I was so Happy .

Man I never thought Coin Collecting could Be such fun years Ago ,I was Wrong its like Christmas everytime you get some nice Coins...
