Hi all. I am wondering of this coin is considered a 1992 Close AM. What do you think?

I'm thinking Wide AM, the A in STATES appears centered. On CAM it is closer to the right T, and the FG appears to close

Pretty sure it's a regular Wide AM. The best diagnostic is the G in FG. Wide has a serif, close does not.

It looks wide. For me, the difference between the AM and ME gaps is what stands out on Close AM.

I agree it's a WAM because the TE of States is widely separated. There are several tells, but in my opinion equal spacing on each side of the M in America is the best one. If your picture was taken at a 90 degree angle I think it would show that.
Edit: I meant say the AT of States is widely separated.

I use the fact that the M is so out of place, is actually farther away from E and close to A

It's a Wide AM. It's the normal and intented reverse.
