Hello, I am new here and I found this coin when I was sifting through change. It looked off and was wondering if anyone could help? Sorry if pictures are blurry. First time doing this.

Hi and

It looks like someone put a nickel on and hit it really hard with a 2lb. Sledge hammer making the impression, or depression rather.
Just my honest opinion.

That's glue, coin was stuck on something. Acetone will remove it I bet.

Crazyb0, did you notice the head/face that appears to be coming out of Washingtons mouth in the second pic.?

@jonk208, first welcome to CCF. Second, your pics are fine. This quarter is only worth 25 cents and can be spent safely, but I hope your next find is something more valuable!
