Excuse me ,but if were made of an alloy and not silver it would have come out of the ground in a lot worse condition . Could be a VERY OLD 10 gram silver bar ? OP> take it to a gold and silver shop or coin shop , they will tell you within seconds .

I beleive it is part of a souvenir keychain. Notice at the top there is a tab with a hole for a key ring. I have never seen a real Gold or Silver bar with a tab to carry your keys. I have seen a few of these souvenirs before but for some reason when I try to Google it, nothing comes up.

Anybody here believe in the Mandela effect?

Sounds along the same line as giving your girlfriend a fake diamond, this was a child's necklace pendant!

SWISH!

Either that or a cheap lady of the evenings jewelry...

100% not a silver bar--here is another one found by a metal detector (this one has the loop still):

@t-bop, thank you for your kind words and yes, sorry for being so vigorous with my disagreement.

As a detector, at first glance, it would have had my heart racing. Difficult to see the obvious when we want it to be the real thing. Living the dream, Webekin
