It should have long since fallen out. Somewhat of a mystery that it managed to get as far as the coining press before falling apart. The pressure of the coining press must have helped fuse it together for some time. Impossible to ascribe a value to it. The best way to finding a value would to be put it up for public auction, unless that has already happened with similar errors. Report this Post to the Staff

I can't believe it's been around for 20 years and no one has picked up on how special the coin is. It's funny because I actually didn't at first I put it in a fruit machine luckily it was one that didn't accept 2pound coins so It came straight back out and that's when I noticed the error.
