Hello everyone! This is my first time here, and first post. Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Jason, and I own/manage Southwest Pawn in Sierra Vista, Arizona. My sister and me took over from my father Steve who was an avid lifelong coin collector, who turned his hobby in to a thriving business.

The reason for this post is to please ask if someone can help identify this VAM. I've checked all the sights, and can only find the double 7, but not the line (die crack? not sure of the proper term) going through the cap on down through one of the stars.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

to CCF! I think what you have is VAM-3 with a knife cut across the obverse.

Thank you. And thank you for responding. Yeah VAM-3 with the double 7 is pretty clear. I guess the cut would make it a damaged coin, probably get a details grade "scratched" from NGC or PCGS.
