I am fairly confident that it is a 191x dated cent, and the first number I saw was 1916... not sure if anyone else sees it, or if I'm just seeing what I want to see

Because there is still signs of VDB under bust it must be AFTER 1917, so it is either a 1918 or 1919 Denver Mint in PO-1

When I first saw it my first thought was '1916', but after Crazyb0 pointed out the V.D.B. initials I'm now fairly confident it's 1918-D (though I can't be sure).
