Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 10/22/2017 8:22 pm John1 AND the Frog are right. It is a plating issue called "Plating Bubbles" (gee, what an inventive term). These are caused by air/debris being trapped between the copper plating any zinc which in turn REACTS with the zinc chemically releasing gasses and corrosion forming what we all love about the Stinkin Zinkins,"Zinc Rot", the breakdown of the zinc core.
