Hey guys these are the pictures of a coin I found when I was younger, don't know much about it just that it's a Peruvian coin. I've done some research but I want to know what y'all think as well! Also, any suggestions on what to do next? I don't trust anybody so any suggestions or advice would be great!

I split your post out of that old thread to its own thread.

Commonly-seen tourist shop-type cast replica of an 1736 Lima mint 8 Escudos. These have been made for decades.

It screams "fake". Just a trinket, sorry.

Fake, unfortunately.
All of the genuine coins were carelessly struck, or very carelessly struck.
To get a better idea, go to Google Images:
"cob 8 Reales".

The reason why the genuine ones were so badly made, is that they were all intended to be eventually sent back to Spain to be melted down into bullion, or to be re struck into much better quality coins for Spanish homeland circulation.

Occasionally good quality "Royal Strikes" were made from these dies, but as best examples for record purposes, much like proof coins,
but much before the time that proof coins were made for specifically for the collector, as with modern proof issues.

Royal Strike coins are very rare; I have never seen one in all of my numismatic experience.
