A few years back I bought 3 of these coins slabbed by GSA, Genuine Specialist Authentication Company, graded as PR70 DCAM. The coins look genuine and all but I recently read this company is not a good company. How do I go about getting them seen and graded by a reputable grader? I am not a huge collector, I only have a few coins and do not know very much about things like this. I would appreciate some guidance and help with this. Thank you to anyone in advance and look forward to a response.

Pictures might help us determine whether you have a Type 1 or Type 2, but they'd need to be clear and close-up of the mint mark. The difference between the two types is very subtle.

If you have a local coin dealer, they may have an account with PCGS and/or NGC and can help you with the submission. They may also confirm which type it is, and it would be worth submitting only if it is Type 2, and even then, a PR69 would be barely worthwhile to have graded. It would be worth submitting a Type 1 only if it's really is PR70 -- the only way to find out for sure would be to submit it; don't take the word of the grade you have now, and your dealer may dissuade you if there's any doubt.

If you don't have any coin shop dealers around then you can look into sending them into ANACS. You don't need a yearly subscription with them and they have specials on prices every now and then, that is if you really want to have them regraded by a reputable TPG company.

This might help you a bit more:

The same mint mark punches were used on all denominations.

Take a look and see if these help. If it is a type 2 you might want to get it re-graded, if the value is over $100? But I've never had one sent off to be graded.

WOW! What a pleasant surprise of responses and help. I want to thank each of you for helping me. I am now trying to learn how to take a picture and put it in my posts. I have never learned how to do this...EVER! I am older but think I can find a tutorial to teach me how.

I apologize for my ignorance, I can sense the frustration not being able to see what I am talking about. I do realize the importance of having pics and I will surely try and learn this process. Thank you all again for your kind help...(firm handshake to each of you).
