This is my first post. I hope I'm doing it correctly. I have a 1994d Washington quarter that appears as if the words Liberty is spelled LTBERTY and there is a perfect little notch cut out directly above it. It appears as a T if you look at it from the side but looks normal if you look at it head on. It won't wipe off and there are no "scrapes" as if someone carved the line. I'm a little confused on it so I was hoping to get your thoughts on what it could possibly be. Thank you

Thank you for the help and I will take more pictures to try and get lighter and clearer photos. Darn phone camera :(

You may need to use an additional light source to help the photos. Absent that, you can also take them outside on a sunny day.

I see liberty spelled just fine. Looks like a rim nick above the "I".

Yeah, the I looks like a T - and I don't think the rim ding has anything to do with it. Got a reverse picture?
