I have uploaded four photos. I know the first one absolutely is not a Close AM. The others are playing trick on my eyes. Can anyone tell from the photos? Is there a safe way to clean coins that does not cause any damage? I have an ultra sonic cleaner. Thank you for your expertise.

The first 3 are definitely Wide AM's. The 4th one looks somewhat promising though, but brighter pictures would be a help. Excuse my manners, to the forum!

to the Forum! DO NOT use an ultrasonic cleaner! The object is to not remove any natural metals (patina). Always use distilled water to rinse off coins, tap water has too much impurity will damage. Do a rinse first To remove sticky gunk, grease use pure acetone to soak it in. Once coins have started to "tone", they will continue to do so, can't stop that process.

It appears they are all Wide AM. Would have been a cool find, but I will just keep looking. Thanks everyone.

Remember the words in Crazy's post. Say it a few times and you'll always be able to remember - it's like a collectors poem: Close AM, Far FG Wide AM, Close FG

They are all Wide AM. My advise would be to look at some on Lincoln Cents Online. When you see one then you will know it is one.
