I noticed a few things that I didn't when I
acquired . Are these "die trails"?

There is very little wear the coin . All I can see is
on his bicep and the chest area. This looks like "PVC"
damage to me . Technical grade ?
Thx in advance

Those lines do resemble a Trail Die.

My first step would be a pure acetone bath for at least a few hours (24 is easier for me schedule-wise). Maybe some of that junk can be removed.

Could be bronze disease.
Pity.
Google:
'Verdigris treatment'
I have seen lots of this type of tokens, in otherwise really nice condition, but with very detracting corrosion or deep scratches or hits.

I have the same.

This one has all three, but I have seen much worse.

Still a keeper, but it must be kept away from the rest of your collection until it has been treated.

What a shame, it was once a high grade example, then someone beat it to death and buried it.
With environmental damage, corrosion, and gouges it's a tough one to call a keeper. Not the toughest year of the series to find in mint state if you choose to replace it.
